The new Room Mate Giulia Hotel, the latest hotel in the Spanish hotel chain designed by Patricia Urquiola, opened last March.
The designer decided to include some Oluce items in the rooms and in the communal areas, and contacted the company’s bespoke tailoring service to create an ad hoc product: the classic Coupé 2202 and Coupé 3321 lamps designed by Joe Colombo were created especially for the occasion with a personalised finish that perfectly matches the environment and the choice of colours adopted by Patricia Urquiola.
The Oluce bespoke tailoring service was designed specifically for this type of requirement in the contract sector: the company offers customers the chance to create bespoke lamps for specific needs or – as in the Room Mate Giulia Hotel – in versions that can be adapted from existing designs.
Alongside the two unique Coupé models, the Room Mate Giulia Hotel also features another Oluce icon designed by Joe Colombo: The Globe in suspension lamp version. This item – simple yet highly sophisticated – creates a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere and enhances the rooms with its timeless lines.
