After the initial “White Canvas” phase, SuonareStella reaches its second stage, in collaboration with Salvioni Design Solutions and the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED), which sees Oluce as partner company for lighting.
The winning project was “Reach for the Stella”, conceived by Zhazira Akhmet, Ilinca Moisa, and Laura Tavera-Bobrzyk, students on the three-year IED Milan Interior Design course. Selected by a jury representing the companies involved, the project is now being turned into reality, with redesign of the interiors of Paolo Stella’s apartment and the Salvioni showroom windows in Via Durini, in the heart of Milan’s design district in Milan
Together with the winning project, Oluce also awarded a special mention to “INVISIBILE”, a hugely elegant, profound entry that celebrates the brand’s history and identity. By Roberta Atzeni, Rebecca Balestrazzi, and Micaela Teruzzi, the project is a refined combination of the brand’s timeless icons, such as Atollo and Coupé, with more contemporary solutions, such as Eva and Dancing Queen, generating the perfect synthesis of tradition and innovation.
The concept of INVISIBILE is based on the idea of personalised light, designed to adapt uniquely to each person, setting and story. What makes this idea stand out is its ability to enhance what often remains hidden, like the diversity and uniqueness of spaces, but above all of the people in them. A light that does more than just illuminate, becoming a vehicle of narration, revealing and adding value to the essence of the invisible.
These principles, the celebration of diversity and the ability to reveal what lies beneath the surface, are values deeply shared by Oluce. INVISIBILE is therefore one of the most relevant and significant ideas of this edition, highlighting the role of light not only as a functional element, but as an instrument for expression and emotional connection.
This initiative shows the company’s commitment to fostering dialogue between consolidated businesses and young design talents, with the aim of exploring new ideas and trends that may enrich the sector. The Salvioni Milano Durini showroom windows will be accessible to the general public until the end of March, offering an immersive experience of innovation, creativity and beauty.
