Among the various events linked to the 21st Triennale del Design, the Triennale Design Museum in Milan presents “W Women in Italian Design”, an exhibition curated by Silvana Annicchiarico which attempts to trace a new history of women and design using a chronological approach and the metaphor of a river that flows through the 20th century.
An eclectic selection of items, designed by top names and less well known faces of design and architecture, sinuously takes shape in Margherita Palli’s installation.
Oluce’s Stones of Glass, a project created by Marta Laudani and designed together with Marco Romanelli, enhances this collection. The lamp appears as a luminous stone in Murano glass and contrasts a smooth, delicate material with the rocky forms it represents.
