In the Design Awards 2016: Best of the rest – awarded every year by the Wallpaper magazine – Oluce has won the award for “Best Reissue” with a re-issue of Coupè 1159/R di Joe Colombo.
The 1960s project was presented as a wall version with a semispherical dome which, together with the floor model Coupè 3320/R which is already part of the collection, enhances one of the company’s most popular product ranges.
The jury this year included famous names from the world of international design as well as other fields: Patricia Urquiola, Konstantin Grcic, David Adjaye, George Lois, Delfina Delettrez and Eddie Redmayne.
