Oluce collaborated on the Victor Vasilev installation at the Feltrinelli store in Piazza Piemonte, Milan for the 2021 Fuori Salone with the Superluna and Atollo lamps.
Design and literature collide to pay homage to the influential writer Fedor Dostoevsky, for the 200th anniversary of his birth.
The architect created the setting by imagining the ideal space for the keen reader: the domestic reading room, which influenced living habits for decades but which unfortunately now appears to be almost obsolete, falling out of use to make way for more digital approaches to relaxation.
The installation, titled Interno D.200, therefore aimed to present an ideal reading space, comfortable and relaxing, lit by the Superluna lamp designed by Victor Vasilev himself, and the Atollo by Vico Magistretti. The Oluce lamps were presented to the public as part of a new experience which combined architecture, design and literature.
