Oluce will be attending the fourth Courmayeur Design Weekend, which runs from February 1-4, as part of the ‘Le idee gentili’ exhibition at the Courmayeur Sport Center.
Created by Studio Coronel, the event is coordinated with the Municipality of Courmayeur and is supported by ADI – Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (Association for Industrial Design) and the Valle d’Aosta Association of Architects, Planners, Landscapers, and Conservationists. The format reflects the best of the Milan Design Week and involves the top design studios and brands.
This year’s initiatives include the charity exhibition “Idee Gentili”, taken from the “Idee Geniali” exhibition curated by Giulio Cappellini and presented at the Design Weekend in Pietrasanta, which featured a selection of cult pieces of Italian and international design. Among the objects on display will be the iconic Atollo by Vico Magistretti, one of the most representative historical lamps in the history of Oluce and lighting design. The exhibition will raise charity money. Products on display will be sold through a timed auction. The proceeds will support the “Medici per l’Africa, Cuamm” association.
The Courmayeur Sport Center will have the exhibition open to visitors between 10 am – 1 pm and 3 – 6.30 pm.
