Carlo Colombo, 2003Of the various types of floor lamp, the “luminator” is surely the most noble, the one taken on, as a challenge, by the most famous designers. For Oluce, Carlo Colombo gives a completely new interpretation, relying entirely on the matter. The body of the lamp is, in fact, composed of a painted metal cylinder that tapers upwards to accommodate the light source. The result is an object of absolute elegance to which nothing can be added, and nothing taken away.
