From June 2nd, 36 works by outstanding artists and 32 objects designed by Italian designers and produced by local companies will be displayed in the courtyards, halls and gardens of Palazzo del Quirinale, seat of the Presidency of the Italian Republic.
The objects selected for Quirinale Contemporaneo – a project backed by President Sergio Mattarella and curated by Cristina Mazzantini – will be on permanent display in the Palazzo, a homage to the creativity and productivity displayed by our country over the past 70 years.
Oluce’s products chosen to become part of the show – Atollo and Zanuso – were designed respectively by Vico Magistretti in 1977 and by Marco Zanuso in 1963. Objects endowed with enduring charisma, they have become icons in the field of lighting and of Italian design worldwide.
