Oluce is one of the brands selected for “Vietato L’ingresso” (No Entry), the project conceived and curated by Giulia Pellegrino, which saw the dressing rooms at the TAM Teatro degli Arcimboldi Milano given makeovers by seventeen big-name planning and design studios.
Francesco Rota, designer and long-standing collaborator with Oluce, took part in the project, rethinking the concept of dressing room with his development of welcoming refined interiors projected into the future. The dressing room designed by Rota sheds its role as a purely technical space to become somewhere for unwinding, protected and private for chilling and concentrating. A place of tactile, visual and sensorial experiences, where all the elements in the room integrate harmoniously. The designer chose Kin by Oluce, which he himself designed, to illuminate and enhance the interiors, in a glossy black finish produced specially for this project.
Kin is a suspension lamp of explicit yet refined beauty. The flared shape of its cast aluminium body with its slender thicknesses, is closed with a methacrylate disc from which its Led light is diffused.
The dressing rooms were opened to the public during the Fuori Salone. Visitors were given the chance to enter these new worlds created by the studios and admire the high quality of the ideas, and the design styles and solutions adopted.
