Architect Eva Khoury has chosen the iconic and timeless Atollo by Vico Magistretti to light and adorn the sleeping area of the Exotik Suite at the Riva del Sole resort in Castiglione della Pescaia, which she recently renovated.
Designed by Magistretti in 1977 and an icon of Italian design, Atollo completely revolutionised the concept of the classic bedside light, becoming the new archetype of the contemporary table lamp.
Chosen in the exquisite gold version by the designer of Lebanese descent, Atollo fits perfectly into the hotel’s setting, which blends north-European style with exotic tastes.
The resort itself is furnished in classic Scandinavian style, with its strong geometry and linearity, but for the Exotik Suite Eva Khoury has decided to think outside the box, creating a space that transports us to exotic, unknown places.
