With over 25,500 participants, the Hotel Show in Dubai is one of the area’s most long-awaited events, opening its gates from 17 to 19 September to welcome over 700 leading companies and suppliers from the hospitality sector, who will meet inside the Dubai World Trade Center.
Oluce will be taking part in this event with a corner stand inside the fair, where it will exhibit a selection of products, including some of its all-time iconic creations – such as the unmistakeable Atollo table lamps by Vico Magistretti, The Globe and the Coupé 3321 floor lamps designed by Joe Colombo – alongside a number of brand new lighting classics such as the Switch lamp by Nendo and other new entries, like the Superluna light by Victor Vasilev, presented during the last edition of Euroluce.
The selection of products on display comes full circle with the Duca lamp by Nicola Gallizia, emblem of the privileged relationship that Oluce has with the world of hospitality and, more generally, with the contract sector, an essential part of a fair like the Hotel Show. This design – created in table and wall versions – was indeed conceived as part of the restyling project for the ME Milan Il Duca Hotel and was created by Oluce via its Bespoke Tailoring service, where products are customised to meet the requirements of contract customers. The lamp, indeed named Duca as a tribute to the luxury hotel in Milan, was then industrialised and introduced as part of the company’s range.
